Regardless of your particular business or business endeavors, the importance of reducing stress in your life couldn't be more important. Stress can simply destroy your productivity and even kill you. If you stay under stress for a prolonged period of time, the result can be just the opposite. Just think back to times in your own life when you have been under too much stress for too long. Eventually stress will catch up to you and hamper your decision making process. Stress hormones, such as cortisol, fundamentally change the way that your mind and body work. Too much of these stress hormones for too long will hamper your performance. Moreover, they will have a serious impact on your health. Stress, as it turns out, does in fact kill.

Taking the time to relax and de-stress from the pressures of work will have a series of long term benefits for your health, your career or your business. In time, you will discover that your best work. Your most innovative ideas come after you have decompressed.
